You might start with the best book on the subject, Volume VII - Chevron and Nueva Cadiz Beads by Picard (as in John and Ruth Picard).

For prices, I would recommend looking at closed ebay auctions by doing a search by "chevron beads". Also check out all of the sellers in the links section of this site. Most of them sell chevrons.

They are a fascinating beads and great beads to collect.
